Snap salaries below average?
I just interviewed for a position at Snap that required 1+ yoe. Rec said salaries cap at 115k for this position in Toronto. Is this normal? Canadian salaries are almost minimum wages in the US
Canada Swe is equivalent to tipping revenue in the US
Now they need to cut TCs for the SWEs already there..
Is this tc or base? Even Amazon pays higher than that

Canadian salaries are way lower than US salaries. Usually 40-50% lower. So the 115K for basically a new grad/1 yoe positions sounds accurate
