I just interviewed for a position at Snap that required 1+ yoe. Rec said salaries cap at 115k for this position in Toronto. Is this normal? Tc: 140k Yoe:3 Edit: position isandroid at bitmoji Also, if anyone can send some referrals it would be appreciated. Anywhere they can give h1b #snapchat #snap #salarycomparison
Recently got an offer. 360 tc, 4 yoe. But in us.
What location? Got a callback but per recruiter it seems like LA and Seattle are the only two options, and I was trying to do NYC
Canada salaries are way lower.
115k USD?
What role ? Without that it’s impossible to answer
Canadian salaries are almost minimum wages in the US
Canada Swe is equivalent to tipping revenue in the US
Now they need to cut TCs for the SWEs already there..
Is this tc or base? Even Amazon pays higher than that
Were you born yesterday? This isn’t unique to snap
Canadian salaries are way lower than US salaries. Usually 40-50% lower. So the 115K for basically a new grad/1 yoe positions sounds accurate
