Why is snapchats operating income at - $500M even after their q4 revenue rose from double digits to $400M? Operating costs that high?
To be more clear, they are paying google to outsource their servers. Netflix also does this, just with amazon. Since snap will live or die on their user and ad revenue growth, focusing all energy there is probably wise.
That's worse profit margins than uber
Very data intensive biz!! Dealing w their own servers probably not worth it. Uber should've taken a lesson from them!
400M is its annual revenue, not q4
yes that's right,
Yikes
They paid google $400m last year
