Hi , Just received a verbal offer with following numbers . Does this look correct , i think its way low number and thinking let it go , but want to hear from others how much i can negotiate. Also do they do Joining bonus ? Its for North Carolina location. Does this look correct for MCOL location ? Role : Level 4 (SA) Base : 150 Bonus : 15% RSU : 170 (4yr) Tc : 215K YoE : 9 Current TC : 180K Role : Data platform Engineer #Snowflake #solutionarchitect
You can negotiate further on base i guess. Also what i have learnt from Snowflake employees feedback, here bonus is not 15% but 13.5. They only give 90% of the bonus when meet expectations.
How close is it to the number you shared with them if they asked? Have your number and stick with it. Unless you feel like you need to run away from your current place. I am not aware about sign on bonus. I would assume recruiter is the best person for this specific question/position.
Directly manager is talking on this , so i am unable to push harder . Not seeing great difference from what i make its hardly 40k total difference , but snowflake on resume looks good than my current company though, so unable to decide if i should accept or let it go.
Do you think there is room for bonus or rsu for the location (Raleigh) or is that already in range ?
Ask for more RSU, I am guessing your current company don’t give RSU?
Yeah No Rsu at my company. But the difference is not considerable hardly 40k more , so i am confused if should i accept or let it go. I am happy at my current place and have to let go of bonus as well if i leave now , snowflake is not even giving any signon as well. How much do you think i can push for in Bonus / RSU for South East Region position (Raleigh/ Charlotte region) .
Just tell them you want $250k TC based on the research you have done. Ask them to up the RSU.
I don’t think folks are getting sign on bonuses. Try for more RSU.
Thanks , how much do you think i can ask for SA position in south east region, is there any room in base or rsu ? I see from past the range was in 200-250K , but not sure why mentioned less , is it cos of drop in stock ?
