Interested in learning more about interview process Q1) Do they have leetcode style interviews? I highly doubt it because I have seen people joining snowflake who knew their stuff well but would have never cracked interviews if it was leetcode style. Q2) is hiring pool based or team specific? Like the product in general, decent culture and top tier pay with liquid comp & refreshers. Would love to work for snowflake. Product market fit is aligned so pretty stable company with no layoffs in sight #snowflake
I had some thoughtful leetcode on the phone screen, but otherwise it was a lot of discussions, being asked to design components people were working on, etc. It was actually less structured than a lot of other companies I interviewed with.
What about on-site?
Dyvxv, Nvir00 how went your on-site? Especially the coding part - is it algorithm style or writing some functionality?
But it’s better because experience is well aligned rather than pool based hiring like Google , Amazon , meta & Uber In the end, team match could be a disaster if you don’t like the work your team is working on or you aren’t familiar with the tech stack I would rather prefer joining team where I met future team mates so that I know if I get the offer, team likes me as opposed to cracking interviews and joining a random team.
Not denying that personal bias can kick in while selecting out of couple of candidates for an offer Shortlisting candidates in the pipeline could again be biased.
