So glad boot camps are dying
Every coworker I’ve ever had from a boot camp are complete trash and way under qualified. No clue how to debug, doesn’t understand how to debug errors (read the stack, pinpoint where errors come from), IoC, no fucking clue how docker containers relate to the docker host, no clue on basic networking Holy shit, basic info - this is the problem with only LC style interviews.
Yup. There are few gems here and there but most bootcamp grads don't have understanding of basic computer concepts.
Still better than a WITCH contractor with “ 10 YOE”

It’s gotta be the job market saturation. Why would we need bootcampers when we have 100 applicants for every job
Bootcampers are last resorts. Larger companies rely on internships to find talent for new grads (try before you buy). There is an abundance of legit candidates now, so no need to hire bootcampers.

As a bootcamper, I agree. My bootcamp was complete shit I was able to learn enough post camp to get a tech role but still can't get into an engineering role. So I'm attempting to go back to school anyway. With colleges like WGU going to a bootcamp is a waste of time and resources.
So I don’t like bootcamp grads either but I have a MSCS and didn’t know how to use the debugger when i graduated either
