Looking to advance my career in the Socal tech scene. Right now have significant pre-tech leadership experience and experience in sales in highly technical / data-first Enterprise sales cycles. Looking to hopefully use my MBA to some extent and/or greatly increase earning potential. Located in San Diego area now and hope to stay, but not a hard requirement. Product strategy is maybe something I see as a fit as well. This is my first post, so if I should include specific asks that'd be helpful, too. Thanks for any tips!
I hear the bay area is good for tech. On a serious note Ive spent some time comparing socal to here and its abysmal in terms of opportunity maybe it doesnt matter maybe it does but keep options open if you can.
Agree with XpoH71. With your background, no one is going to want to take a risk on you. Go to the Bay Area where people care more about grit and attitude rather than “who you know” or which “school you went to”.
LA is booming - SD would definitely be trickier. Honestly tons of people have been moving from the Bay Area to LA and are loving it.
