1. Instagram - Everyone uses it. Gen Z and Millennials especially. All the celebs and companies use it. Will always stay relevant for posting stories and messaging. 2. TikTok - Insanely popular very quickly for a reason. Still the best algorithm. Most Americans use it. Best for catching up on trends. 3. Facebook - Only old people use it so it’s meh. Young people use it for FB marketplace. However, it’s still owned by Meta so prestige is up there. Has the most users. 4. LinkedIn - The only professional social media site. Reliable, with least controversy. Great business model. No real competitor. 5. Snap - It’s cool among Gen Z but everyone else doesn’t use it. Slowly getting eaten by IG. Stock is bad. 6. X / Twitter - Lost its prestige and charm once Elon took over. Advertisers are pulling away. 7. Reddit - Great for niche hobbies and questions. Pay is meh and is associated with neck beards. 8. Blind - Not known publicly. Has a rep for being a lil toxic. App lowkey sucks.
Facebook 3? Unserious list
It’s still the defacto social media site around the world. Has the most users out of all social media apps. Only social media site that has a movie based around it
^this even I dont use facebook that much but there is no denying that its still the defacto social media app. Just like Linkedin is the defacto professional network.
I don’t use 1,2,3 and use the remaining, also I don’t want to use 4 ( cringe as fuck posts ) but I have to find a job.
Where is weibo and wechat
Twitter is the top. Fuck other social media
Ahem, I believe you may have forgotten tier 0. *tips fedora
Reddit rising. Pay is not bad given we’re fully remote. And hey if you joined 3+ years ago, and we go public 🫣
