Which career is more lucrative and fulfilling?
Software is more lucrative simply because you get more years in your career. Doctors start later and have to pay off massive loans. Medicine is probably more fulfilling though, depending on how you define “fulfilling”. I’d imagine it’s just a great feeling to know that you are potentially saving lives vs working on a new feature of the next release of an app
‘Fulfilling’ is a relative term. Working at SpaceX and building software for the Mars rocket, or doing cutting edge AI research at DeepMind is arguably more fulfilling than being a doctor

Prostitute
Lucrative and fulfilling don’t necessarily go together. Also one requires 10 years of schooling. Pick one.
Entrepreneurship is both more lucrative and fulfilling
Swe can almost always be more lucrative especially when considering wlb and flexibility. Doctor is probably more rewarding especially if you're in a field you're passionate about.
Any mention of software for medical devices? I've gotten to work with doctors, watch surgeries, and build tech to improve outcomes and watch it come to market. On the other hand, med tech has its dark sides. Devices are expensive, industry is capitalistic, etc, but most of those drawbacks are shared across the medical field.
Medical doctor likely is more fulfilling but not as immediately lucrative. Loans and malpractice insurance add up
