There are some huge ones that started and are HQ’d here. Lincoln/Omaha are awesome young towns. Tech companies such as Hudl, builderTrend, quantum workplace, and Spreetail, to name the larger ones. Dozens and dozens of Startups like started in Lincoln - companyCam, liveby, flywheel, hayneedle, archrival, agilx, travefy, bulubox just to name a small chunk.

For Nebraska that’s not bad
Yeah it’s definitely close to $25,000 more than the average in Lincoln. But I don’t work for a Nebraska company anymore. I was hired as a QA Engineer 1 even though I left my last company as a Sr. QAE. I now act as much more than that and am receiving a promotion to SDET lead sometime mid-December and will receive a raise as well. Don’t know what to ask for comp wise.
