Is 18hr intermittent fasting better than 16hr intermittent fasting?

I started the 16hr intermittent fasting last month for weight loss, some days I have been able to push for 18hr fasting. Should I now upgrade to 18hr? Does 18hr fasts have a more significant impact? If yes how does it help?

Bro as someone who fasted for 18 plus hours for a month; I can confirm, fasting rarely helps with weight loss 😞😞😞 only calories count and workouts help… less calories in more calories out,

Yes, this definitely. Fast, but be mindful of the calories you put in, and workout regularly.

Nobody forced you to fast though, that's your decision, if it didn't help you why doing it?

24hr cycle fasting isn't worth it imo. Do long duration water fast instead. Just watch out when you start eating again, start slow. I'm doing 4 days fast, 8kCal profit, feel great.

Wow So you just drink water for 4 days?

Water + vitamins + electrolytes (or just salt)

2000 calories taken in 4 hours and 2000 calories taken in 20 hours has 0 difference.

It does have a difference. Look up mTor. Fasting helps cycle, for cells. Weight loss is a different story but there are other benefits

The question clearly mentions weight loss. So I said 0 difference.
