Given YOE, I would expect Principal SE level, making over your top option, regardless of location (anywhere in US)

For a lead se I’d expect $200k+ ote and for principal se I’d expect $250k+ ote to start. Solutions engineers that are lead and above also get stock incentives.

I know lead SEs making less than 200k and not getting stocks either. So this isn't guaranteed.
