I'm not exactly new to investment. But I've limited myself to tech stocks, CDs, wealthfront, and high interest savings. I plan to start researching more about the right kind of investments for me in vanguard, non-tech stocks, real estate investment sites like fundrise, peerstreet, etc. But meanwhile if you guys have any good articles I can read up to understand these things better that has helped you in the past, your help is greatly appreciated. Looking for articles explaining the above options in layman terms, articles suggesting investment strategies, ratios for diversification, etc. Thank you!
Regarding stocks, all you need to know is to google “warren buffet long bets”. It’s one situation in investing where “knowing more” might actually hurt you.
In the last decade, people who invested in tech stocks have made more, and perhaps even paid off their mortgages Not saying tech stocks is a safe bet, but in the last decade or so, Buffet's stocks have underperformed the tech industry.
Yes that’s true. Also people who invested in bitcoin for the last decade out performed anything buffet did.
