I don’t understand this mentality at all. You take a job, they tell you how much you get and what your benefits or lack thereof are, and you agree to take it because you need the job. Then fast forward like a few months, you shut down operations on businest day of the year to demand more?
Yep. That's called a strike. You do it at the most effective time such as the holiday season. A tool for bargaining. Just like Amazon management uses all the shady tools it can dream up to steal money from poor taxpayers like these workers. What I find interesting is that working class people like engineers started identifying with billionaires! I guess when they started throwing larger crumbs at us and created an illusion that we are privileged to be their equals.

Unions are much stronger in Europe than in US. They can bring amazon's business to a standstill in the holiday season. If that happens, imagine where the stock is going to go in this market. A 20% drop is not out of question. It will be brutal if they don't make the unions somewhat happy fast.
