I just got sent a take home test from SpaceX and was told about the follow up interviews with a technical lead and the in person onsite. What is the difficulty of the spaceX interviews? What is the WLB on the Starlink teams? Trying to figure out if I should pursue this to switch over from PayPal to SpaceX. #starlink #interviews #spacex TC: 220k
Waste of time. They sent me a take home test. Asked the TC and it was something of the order of $150K base in LA. Elon 🖕🏽
You missed out bro, share appreciation is insane. I saw someone with 600k TC after working a couple of years.
Elon fired several of his senior engineers during their 5th year of vesting.
They didn't tell you to do a presentation of your proudest technical achievement?
I only had the call with the recruiter today. Next step is OA
How were the interviews?
took an OA but never heard back. it had a really long problem statement but was essentially a leetcode medium. Got contacted for another interview by a different team and it is scheduled for 2 weeks from now.
@ UvqS42 how did it go
It was a pretty easy interview process. Was given an offer but declined since it was horrible, and the WLB is clearly even worse than I imagined
Ah I see what kind of questions were asked for coding and system design rounds ? Leetcode?
How was the take home assignment? did you prepare for it?
WLB is non existent there but stock payoff could be huge. It's a fair trade off depending on your life situation
I figured as much. Is the interview process difficult compared to places like Google?
I would think so. They don't hire as much so they're screening process could be more stringent. Lot of people are able to wiggle their way into Google. Not so much SpaceX
