I recently received job offers from both Roblox and SpaceX. Both companies are incredibly exciting and I feel incredibly lucky to have received offers from them. Roblox is offering me a salary of $340,000 per year, which is a very generous offer. However, SpaceX is my dream company and they are offering me a salary of $270,000 per year. I am really torn about what to do. On the one hand, the money from Roblox is very appealing and I would be able to live a very comfortable lifestyle on that salary. But on the other hand, working for SpaceX has been a dream of mine for a very long time and I would be extremely proud to be a part of their team. I also have to consider my admiration for Elon Musk. I have always been a huge fan of his and the work he is doing at SpaceX is truly inspiring. But at the same time, I have to be practical and make a decision that is best for my future. I am still unsure about what to do. I am going to have to weigh the pros and cons carefully and make a decision that is right for me. TC 252K 3 YoE
Depends on if you’re willing to give up your life to be a good employee for Elon. That’s what it takes at SpaceX. So if you’re going through a major life event or something I’d rethink it.

Acknowledged.
SpaceX will absolutely let you retire early. I already know.
🤣
You mean burnt out kind of retire?
Ask yourself, do you want to retire in space or in metaverse?
Is there equity in spaceX? If so, it has much more potential than Roblox’s
Does SpaceX have stock option?
10yr annual average return is about 40%
Neither. But if you had a choice spaceX Roblox future is tied to the "metaverse" a laughable marketing gimic.
Imagine how much lower that SpaceX TC is when you consider the hours Elon will expect you to work
Roblox, exploiting families (Robux) but creating entertainment. SpaceX, building for space but working for increasingly off-the-rails Elon.
Also worth noting that SpaceX risks getting dragged down if the broadband business fails to make a profit. And the debt that Elon has acquired buying Twitter is also a risk. I don't see Roblox having any financial concerns.
