Hey Splunkers. Any input you could provide me on prepping for a SWE cloud technical interview? Im most comfortable with Go. Any help is highly appreciated. Also any info on what the team owns would also be great. #engineering #software #swe
I joined in my early career. I would say prepare for lc mediums (leaning towards the easy side) and a system design interview in the onsite. From my knowledge, theres 2 general areas you may fall under: the observability teams and the more traditional splunk cloud". The observability teams come from aquisitions and are working on cooler, more modern tech with more of a startup culture/practices. I think they operate in their own lane, separate from everything else. If you don't mind a little chaos, I think you can learn a lot there. But for everything else, I don't think Splunk is really a good place to be honest. Splunk "cloud" isn't really cloud software and splunk cloud services is DOA. But feel free to DM for any other questions
