Hey. Got an offer a few days ago for senior product manager position in Spotify in Stockholm Base 80k sek per month Rsu 110k usd over 4 years Is it good? And what about sign on? Do they offer it? Yoe 9 Current tc 110k usd
Can ask for more stocks.
Like how much? It’s non-us so hard to negotiate… and my competing offer is lower actually
Oh wow, the pay in europe seems low. I dont expect senior pm just make that much :)
Would be great to relocate to states but nobody is calling :(
It's over 20% more than your current TC. Hard to pass on that.
But cost of living in my country is much lower so the only excess money I get would be the rsus
If my google skills are good, that’s approx 9.6 USD/month. Approx same as your current TC. I won’t move for 110k/RSU unless you want to explore Europe .
That’s the question I’ve been asking myself.. maybe somebody from stockholm would tell me how it is :)
Stockholm is expensive, but likely cheaper than New York and San Francisco. So it also depends where you are currently. Also consider your tax rate there and see how much savings you'll have to invest.
Currently in russia. Based on my research all my salary would go to family daily needs and the only thing that is an excess would be the rsus
Wow, thanks, very informative
Sounds ridiculously low by bay area standards, but maybe that’s just the job market in sweden? You’d pay ~40% in taxes on that amount. Senior PM in Fang in silicon valley makes 5x that.
I’m based in russia, so… dunno if somebody in us hires and relocates :(
Sounds like a good offer for Stockholm at that level
Is it good? Yes, it's more than I make 😏
If it’s more than what you’re making now, it’s good
But I would be relocating from russia, where cost of living is lower
