Can anyone provide insights on what to expect in Python and SQL tech screens for data scientist position? Best ways to prepare? TC: 300 Thanks!
Check this site www.mydatainterview.con they do mocks for square
SQL was easy/medium hackerrank. Got completely ghosted by the company after my technical interview. Started sending regular petty follow up emails after month 1 of not hearing back bc as an unemployed folk, I have the time 😉
How many questions did you complete? Did you also do bonus?
My interviewer was a few minutes late and I was running out of time for the last questions. Knew the bonus question but not the last question so I completed the bonus but not the final Q

Easy SQL Easy Python The dumb part is the EDA for on-site. They tell you take time to look through data then when I tried data.describe() interviewer was like wtf u doing just answer question. One column only had True which I would’ve known if I looked through data and she used it as a gotcha moment haha. Everything else was easy
Also know your date time functions for EDA portion. Interviewer said “here’s tip” but I used stackoverflow anyway haha Might have gotten dinged for that looking up chart and date time functions on stackoverflow during interview.
What kinda stuff did you get tested for Python?
