BREAKING: Internal sources confirm another round of layoffs just hit emails at Tesla. For real.
Hi! I have a square DS loop coming up and will really appreciate some help about the interview process. Specifically the technical part, modeling and exploration. How difficult is the level of that interview and some resources to prep for it? I am really interested in this position, any pointers are appreciated. Thanks! Tc: 🥜 #square #datascience
Should just ask the recruiter about looking up syntax, they’ll be transparent about that
Hi, How was your tech round?
How was it? Is knowing linear regression, logistic regression, and random forests enough for modeling?
Hey can you please share your experience? I have an on-site coming up
Hey can someone please share their experience?
Read all the articles on their DS blog. Brush up on your regression and classification (sklearn) and hypothesis testing. I passed the tech interviews but failed the Product part of the on-site, so I recommend studying some common PM-style questions too.
Thanks. In the modelling part of tech rounds, do they ask you to develop a model?
Read their tech blog, if I remember right they have an example of building a churn model along with data visualization and exploration and it’s very comparable to the test they gave in my on-site rounds.
Are you allowed to lookup syntaxes and all? If you don’t remember the right packages or just don’t remember the exact function name etc
I don’t know what you’re “allowed” to do honestly. I feel like you should be able to remember numpy, pandas, and sklearn though. Probably a big red flag if you can’t.
