Hey Square folks, what percentage of your company is fully remote now? And what % do you think will stay remote once things return back to normal post-Covid? Curious as I may be joining soon. TC: $260k
Currently we're very highly remote. The company has already officially said people will be able to be remote for as long as they want/forever. I'd expect it will be a large percentage of the company going forward
What are the salary adjustments of full remote? Is it based on cost of labor or cost of living
It’s rare to see anyone working out of an office
I go to the office once a week just to get a change of scenery. There's less than 20 people across all 8 floors. Even less at at least three of our other locations.
Half my team is remote. The other half that's in SF usually work remote but some of them occasionally go the office for fun.

Screw it. Don't care anymore. Let Israel take it. One state solution.
~40% of people hired in 2021 were remote. Remote is here to stay.
Do you feel like those who are remote could be disadvantaged when things return to normal?
Depends on the team. If your team is distributed(which most teams are) it shouldn’t be. But if your team is heavily based on one location it could be detrimental.
