Hi, I have an upcoming panel interview loop with square as a product manager. Does anyone have any advice on the interview process? I’d be curious on what type of questions would be asked for the product case or analytics case questions. Any insights for this interview process would be greatly appreciated. Do you have a job? If yes, why not stick there?
“It’s hip to be square”
It might look that way from the outside but ….. and you have been warned
I got a pretty straightforward “diagnose the problem” case question for the analytics question my loop. Overall interview was straightforward
Hi OP, how did your interview process go? Have an upcoming interview as well and would be great to hear your experience.
Hey, Total 7 rounds plus a final round with a VP. They all asked questions from behavioural followed by strategy, diagnose, improve a digital product, improve square, how to roll out interests ethically, success metrics. They don't take notes, nor they have a structure like faang. They just asked what they felt like. In the end, I got rejected saying they prefer someone from a big company. 😁 I bombed the last vp round and his two questions on interest rates.
What questions did they ask in the strategy round? And were they specific about the digital product?
