Square Refreshers/Base increase

Folks at square, do you get yearly refreshers? My understanding is that you don't. But my recruiter was telling me there as some yearly base increases or TC increases, that are supposedly based on performance. Can someone explain how this works, is it something that's basically guaranteed to happen. And what percentage increase are we talking about?
