Hi all, Im going for a backend position with squarespace and recently got through the phone hackerrank interview. Two coding questions, one LC-easy, the other LC-medium-ish but still very doable. Ive been invited for a virtual onsite interview (full day of interviews) and want to know what I should expect. Easy/medium LC? And more importantly, will there be a system design question and how tough will it be? System design is by far my weakest skill so really would like to know how much to prep for it. Have gone through grokking a bit, youtube videos (mostly Gaurav Sen), and a couple other resources. If anyone has experience with them, let me know. Thanks! YOE: 3 TC: 115k

How was the interview? Did you get any system design question?
Yes. 1 - System Design: Design Squarespace 2 - OOP (basically looking at a PR) 3 - Algo: LC medium 4 - Leadership/behavioral round I thought I did pretty well overall but did not get picked in the end. Feedback was very vague: some technical components in OOP and a few areas in Leadership. The entire interview process was the smoothest ive ever experienced though. Its a great company with what seems like great people. Will definitely try again in the future.
