Sr. SWE Offer Evaluation for Boulder, CO

Looking for thoughts as I'm unfamiliar with Boulder, CO ranges. Visited and liked the area, salary range data feels all over the place. Keeping company name out of it for anonymity, just hoping to get an idea of where I'm standing. Anyone have any input on if my QoL will be maintained? The main reason for potential change is not liking my current standing and the role sounds pretty neat. Offer: Sr. SWE, 190k, Hybrid (central Boulder) Current: Sr. SWE,145k (full remote, Midwest)

Boulder is very expensive, but plenty of towns around Boulder with cheaper COL. Awesome town, bit quirky, great area in general.

Great to hear, my thoughts were commuting from Longmont or Erie.

Commuting around colorado sucks. Cost of living in colorado is constantly going up as well.

190 is really good for the area! Live anywhere outside Boulder (even Denver is fine) and you should be good. You don't get much value for your money if you live in Boulder. - A Boulder/Denver based SWE
