Got an offer KLA San Jose: - base 190k. - bonus 15%. - rsu 40k over 3yrs. Role: mechanical design engineer. YOE: PhD + 8yrs in hightech industry. Question: what job grade shall I expect ? Is it a reasonable offer to make a living of a family with 3 kids ? #semiconductor #klatencor #kla
That’s average offer for this position. As previous poster said, difficult to live for that large a family on such a paltry salary. Does your spouse earn? That’ll help. Suggest you to find something in TEsla or even Apple for real mechanical opportunities.
