I’m hitting one year mark at Snap and can’t wait to get out of this shit show. Overworking and burned out. Toxic leadership. Company has no future either I got Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft offers earlier last year but they’re all having some sort of PIP now. I can take a 50-80k pay cut yearly to work for a company that has better wlb and no stack ranking and PIP quotas. Current comp is 195k base + 200k stock. Thinking of Apple but leaning towards smaller companies. No visa sponsorship needed. Can anyone suggest a decent place paying 330k+ for senior positions with good wlb (40hrs/week)? Many thanks in advance YOE: 5
Same man tired of pip culture everywhere lol I’m tryna live my life not think about work 24/7
Every company has PIP, dude. It's PIP quotas you need to worry about.
Thanks. Updated the post.
Squaee
Nvidia. No PIP.
Is quarterly pip at Snap real?
It’s real
It's not quarterly, you need to be below ratings for some time and I think the manager would need to select you. At the end of the day it is probably similar to other places, the company needs to push managers somehow to select low performance. Otherwise they will not have the strength to do it on their own.
