I’m currently interviewing for a Staff SWE role in a MCOL location. If I do get to the end of the process - could I ask for a number higher than the top end mentioned in the job listing, given that I have 2 additional yoe than the preferred qualifications? Wanted to get current employees and other peoples thoughts on how flexible Walmart is with negotiations, so I can be prepared. Could someone also give an approximate breakdown of the TC offered for a staff role? TC: 125k #tech #swe #walmart
So far the only thing I've managed to negotiate is upleveling. The director mentioned possibly finding ways to get a little more comp to close the gap with my current TC but it will be difficult
Are you currently at Walmart?
At offer stage, it's a tempting offer
Are you currently staff swe?
I’m currently a contractor at Senior level but I’ve been doing Staff level work for over 2 years now
What do you write on resume, senior swe contractor?
