Starbucks SDE2 Offer Expectations
Hi, Anyone from Starbucks backend engineering team? My spouse got a call from Starbucks recruiter for Engineer 2. Recruiter is asking for expected TC and we have no idea what the right expectations for this role and this company. Any insight what to expect for this role would be great. #starbucks #offer

They pay pretty low, expect probably 120-140k base

What about joining bonus, yearly bonus and RSU? Do they have any of that components

I can't remember, they do rsus, but it's like 10k maybe?
Repeat after me - we can cross that bridge when we get there. As of now, I am more interested in getting to know the team and the role in question.
Great response...but why interview if they cant meet your target salary?
The only time one should answer the expected comp with a number is when you know that you are already making top of market
