Starbucks just announced that HQ will be closed for an additional 12 months. As far as I’ve heard, this is the longest WFH deadline set by any company. Over the next 12 months, leadership has committed to remodeling HQ over the next year to support a WeWork style of working. Employees can use an app to request parking spots, reserve desks, etc. Starbucks seems to be a very early adopter in what I hope will become the norm of hybrid remote work.

Starbucks is trying to become more and more of a people positive, carbon positive company. This might not be a tangible thing for many people who think in terms of TC but given what it has, it's playing the right game and often leading in various future endeavors.
