Hi all, I’m applying for a business analysis manager (finance) role at Starbucks - just wondering if anyone has insight into what work life balance is like for this role / level of unpredictability / weekend work etc? Thanks!

Hi I work in tech not finance. Congrats on joining Starbucks. My experience is we have a LOT of meetings during the week and not efficient. Way too many. The result of this is less and less time during the workday to get actual work done. If you can build early habits of protecting work time, saying no to mtgs without burning bridges, and make meetings more useful then you can make it a 32hr week job. We also have a few company wide meetings and I make sure to use those as opportunities to go for walks, run errands, or exercise in the background. Starbucks is not a hectic place to work outside of the weekday 8-5. Just during the 8-5 it can be so find your rhythm and it’ll work out.
Thank you! This is very helpful insight, thanks!
