Starting level in different companies
Hey all, i hear all the level names in different companies across the board. I am wondering what would be a reasonable level to start in Google, Facebook, Apple, Linkedin, Uber, Stripe, Lyft, Pinterest, and Airbnb? About me: 2 yoe, PhD, backend engineer

In Google PhDs start at level 4, as long as the PhD is in a relevant field (and you pass the level 4 interview).
