I've worked in tech for 5 years, and I want to make the transition to a frontend developer. I've been learning React, Redux, and JavaScript/ES6 in my spare time. (In addition to my existing, basic knowledge of Python and Ruby) My question: What knowledge level do you think I need to be at in order to get an entry-level job? Do I need to know JS/React inside and out? Or is it ok to have beginning-to-intermediate knowledge + stack overflow?

u don’t need to know react well but make sure u know JS ES6 well.
This. First and most important is to understand the language and it’s quirk. Then learn the framework. React is hot right now, so that’s not a bad one to start with.
Thank you both for the input!
