Startup Branding & Logos
Hey Startup Blinders, Curious as to how much you paid for your brand build and logo design, and where you found that designer? Im a corporate creative director and I freelance for fortune 500s and startups, but my brand builds are usually for smaller companies. Interested in targeting those build outs for the bigger clients but not sure where they seek out their designers, and what their pricing expectations are. Thanks for your time and thoughts!
I do package for startups, 8 - 12k Positioning Target Audience and Guidelines. It’s includes workshop and Brand Platform.
The value of a logo and branding package is directly related to the size of the company and placements it will see in the market. Startups won’t and don’t pay well for this stuff and they’re usually run by a bunch of twats who want to micromanage the whole thing. Logo work isn’t worth the time and effort at this level unless it leads to advertising, landing pages and product work.
As one of those twats, I agree. Designers tend to pick up this work because they are doing a favor or thirsty for any work.
Friend referrals. The logo was $1K or so.
