Got an offer at a well funded seed stage startup. I would be engineer #5. I’m fairly senior, as is the rest of the team. $225k + 10% bonus 0.3% equity I’m mainly wondering if the equity is reasonable.
equity low, they’re gaslighting you when they say “generous” if they say that but even the proper amount is quite low, but in any case the comparable would be 1.25 - 1.50% I honestly wouldn’t worry about the equity. take the sweet salary and invest it in other high risk assets.
