Stash vs Wealthfront

Did anyone invest in stash or Wealthfront app and how is it for long term investment ?

I currently use wealthfront for some of my investments and I like it. Have not used stash or betterment but from what I hear they are all basically the same thing.

Betterment has a few more features and can be cheaper depending on how much you invest. They also give the same services to everyone unlike Wealthfront who only does advanced things for higher balances.

I some how feel maybe it’s better to just put money on VOO....

VOO is a great fund but it's just US stocks, and just large caps. Many many folks think that you need more diversification with international markets (both developed and emerging), smaller and mid caps, REITs, Bonds (government and corporate). Basically what pretty much all robos are doing (Betterment, wealthfront, Schwab, sigfig, Acorns, etc)

Just buying the s&p index fund and forget about the market nonsense -Buffet

Wealthfront/Betterment build balanced portfolios of index funds essentially but they do value added things like rebalancing so you don't fall for your biases.

I use Wealthfront for my after-tax investments and am happy with it. Tax loss harvesting is good and so is their stock-level investment when your balance crosses 100K, so a good motivator to reach that tier. Have not used stash.
