I’m pretty comfortable and safe at Intuit. I interviewed with G recently and heard back from recruiter that I passed onsite. I am worried if I join Google (assuming team match goes well) I might get SCI because I would be new. How bad is it at Google for new employees? TC:300k @Google Edit: Thank you everyone who responded. I’ll re-evaluate after team matching is complete and have offer letter in hand. Will update the post as I make progress.
Is Intuit gonna layoff? If no, just stay put.
Is anyone safe ://
no layoffs yet but who knows
Did you pass HC or doing team match before HC?
I don’t know, the recruiter didn’t mention about HC. I’ll ask my recruiter
Which level at G?
L4
Stay, lots of Nooglers getting SCI now
It’s not that all nooglers are getting SCI, but the majority of them are? Isn’t there an expectation set in place after nooglers get through onboarding on the deadlines they need to meet? I can’t tell if it’s just nooglers being targeted because new and vets are being protected more, or that recent nooglers are just that bad.
I don’t know if majority but google page is full of nooglers complaining about SCI after a few weeks which doesn’t seem fair. Probably the easiest justification for a manager when they’re forced to fill a quota
Find out how long offer is good for at Google and wait out a few extra months if you can. You could see how things play out over the first few months of 23’ and decide.
This
He or she doesn't have an offer yet
What is sci ?
Support 🐔
Support Check In. It's the first documented step that you're "underperforming".
Which team at Intuit? How is the company doing? Any layoffs in the coming days? Because, Sundar keeps cribbing about Googles revenue all the time.
I’d stay at Intuit.
Why?
lol you think you can escape team match purgatory that easily?
Exactly. There is nothing like passing onsite at Google. If you are not terribly bad, they'll put you through team matching and then ghost after months. (Experienced this twice, and I am average.)
Are you paid during this time also why does it work like that?
I think you still have to get matched with a team
What does LRP mean?
Ugh. Sorry You're still in team match, right?
