What happens when most of your team is Indian?
Hey Blinders, I've been getting hints from my mgr that they aren't happy with my performance. They felt I wasn't aggressive enough in getting results and data from other teams. For my mental health, I've been looking externally. Layoffs and URA is stressing me out. I have an offer from Boeing. Can anyone speak about Boeing? Do they stack and rank there? Do they have URAs? Thank you. TC 230k
Leave to where?
Nextdoor is hiring aggressively
Have a offer from Boeing. Lateral move. Lower TC ..
You know right why they do this .. you will be dropped into focus irrespective of what you do now.
Yes, feels like the 1:1s feedback is around the LPs. Not a good sign ..
They’re basically firing you so take the new job offer.
Boeing no longer issue equity since 10 years ago unless you are upper management. It’s just the cash bonus and it depends on which Program you are at. I believe this year BGS got a lot more than any other programs ( BCS, BDS,Core). Boeing has a great work life balance and great benefits( insurances and tuition reimbursement) one of my colleagues just had their 2nd child and his wife worked at Amazon. He said the Boeing insurances save them a lot money when the 2 child was born. I worked for BCS and I need to go to office 4 days a week, but sometimes my boss can let me work from home if I needed.
Thank you for the details. I appreciate the feedback. What about URA? I heard they believe in Jack Welch model and stack rank employees
Boeing is great on health benefits and work life balance! But this has a price to pay, your pay raise will be 1-3% no RSU and very little bonus. The career growth is nothing unless you are Karen or Kevin ! Diversity is not welcomed!
