Stock Market and Mueller.

Recap: Indictments for 12 Russians. Immunity pleas for 5. Alleged Russian spy arrested. All in the last week. What happens if Mueller gets to the President and he’s removed? Do they void and undo his changes in Tax Law, Tariffs, Executive Orders? Are they de facto void because foreign agent/influence/treason?

This is unprecedented. Wtf knows....

Odd are pence is in on it also. That would make the speaker of the house president. Considering the likelihood of a blue wave this November. We might have a Democrat for president come January.

What are you on about? Since he got elected the entire stock market had moved drastically because of his taxes and tariffs. It’s also killed the property market momentum.

Uhhh. I thing we've see how weak our other two arms of gov actually are. Trump out there just tweeting new policy. Congress and judicial are just for show. Like the pink toilet paper in the bathroom of a southern home, it's just for pretty. Welcome to the dictatorship.

Probably not. They can be undone by whoever takes over and through Congress, but they're not going to void everything he's done all in one go.

Google 🍑☁️ Jul 17, 2018

It would be dumb to blanket-undo all of that stuff just because he was president when it was done. From what I've heard, he doesn't even read in full most of the stuff he signs

If the election is found to be invalid, we reset the calendars to 2015 and go again

Perfect. The way The Bachelor ended was a travesty.

Amazon ifrir5 Jul 18, 2018

If Trump is removed then Pence becomes president and would likely leave most of the orders intact. Also only Congress can repeal laws.

IBM Wimi83 Jul 18, 2018

Laws don't magically become null because a president dies, gets arrested, whatever. The president doesn't even write laws and everything that he did unilaterally (exec orders) can be undone immediately by a successor. The lack of understanding of the structure of the US government that question implies is shocking. I hope you don't participate in US politics.

Apple Fjiyv OP Jul 18, 2018

Yeah there’s so many case examples for me to draw on here. I have no idea what the treason laws allow. And since the executive orders can immediately be undone, the travel ban and the tariffs can go away if Pence has the balls to do it. This would affect the stock market.

Apple Fjiyv OP Jul 18, 2018

Ok sounds like they are not automatically voided. Would Congress quickly and bipartisanly move to still them back? After all who’s gonna hitch their wagon to Trump the foreign shill on things like the travel ban and tariffs?

Microsoft TrumpWins Jul 18, 2018

OP, you are delusional. First of all Mueller said weeks ago that he believes sitting presidents cannot be indicted. Second, there would be extreme civil unrest if Trump was ever removed from office before his term is up. Third, look up the legal definition of treason. A lot of people throw around the word without knowing what it means

Amazon ifrir5 Jul 18, 2018

If Congress removes him via the impeachment process laid out in the Constitution there will be no social unrest. For that to happen the case against him would need to be strong enough that a majority in both houses want him gone and that would only happen if a majority of voters are convinced it's the right thing too, otherwise those who vote to impeach will pay for it at the ballot box.

OP, it turns out that your question (or wishful thinking) doesn’t really matter. I hope you’re not too disappointed. 😂
