Current stock market trend and insane valuations for stocks like Palantir, Snowflake, Shopify, Tesla is beyond my comprehension. Snowflake is already at 118B valuation for ~300M year revenue. Palantir is at 53B valuation. Do we see tech bubble will eventually pop or this will continue and NASDAQ will see 20k by end of 2021 ? I think trend has crossed valuation bubble beyond year 2000. Thoughts? TC : 210K #stockmarket
Considering the pandemic has limited expenses for people, they are now dumping their EXTRA savings into stonks. In my opinion, the bubble won't POP but it will slowly stabilize after a bit of correction once the vaccine is out.
It’s sucks because this is all true but at the same time if you don’t invest you get destroyed too while watching everything continue to go up. I think you have to just buy in. There will be a crash at some point but by the time it occurs the S&P could be be 50-100% higher than it is now.
This. There is no point trying to time.
It’s lucky for those that rode the momentum. When the financial crisis happened, cracks were already showing in the economy, it just takes time. Most of the tech names sit on cash, and if they don’t go bankrupt, they’ll stay in sky high valuations for awhile. Or, institutional investors cash out and that’ll put downward pressure on pricing. But the market has plenty of dumb money.
They’re certainly overvalued. But I just don’t know how(if they’ll ever) they’d pop. That’s how stonks work 🤷🏻♂️
