Netflix and Hulu are both cracking down on password sharing and introducing universal advertising even in the most expensive plans. It's only a matter of time until others follow. At that point we have gone full circle to cable. The next logical step from there is to have your ISP upcharge or outright ban steaming services they don't like. Call it an "access fee". Meanwhile they jack up the rates for peering to really squeeze upstream traffic sources. Blind tax TC 200k
Not a new idea. Netflix once paid tolls to big ISPs, now Netflix is bigger than all of them and people have more options with fixed mobile and satellite options.
