I was wondering if anyone has gone through the process transitioning from iOS. Main question is for the initial phone screen would it look bad if I use XCode + Swift for whatever the question is given I'll need to use JS/TS/React/Whatever later on for the onsite? I'm just worried about writing unit tests (they allude to testing in the prep doc which usually means it's part of the interview) in Next JS or React because the tools so far have been non-intuitive and hard to use as a newbie. Lyft pays only 240k?
The test thing was more to think through what you’d test for. I did mine on hackerrank and the interviewer had a list of test cases he copy-pasted into the editor. I basically listed as many test cases as I could think of before he cut me off saying enough and pasted them in. This might be different for the onsite though as I’m thinking you’ll have to work on your own env
Curious why you switched paths?
Job security and better setup for management (client eng diversity) down the line. Not 100% certain on the switch but keeping my options open
