Stripe Tax Team
Got reached out by Stripe Tax reporting team. Would anyone from Stripe be able to help share thoughts on the team. My main priority is stability and wlb ( anything less than 50hr/week is acceptable to me). I feel getting an offer which I wont pursue is moot so dont want to put in a lot of effort until I am sure this is something I want to pursue. I have been burnt by it once by Google dont want to do it again. Appreciate the help! TC- $270 #tech #stripe

Good team. Good part of the business. Core priority. No reason to work 50 hours a week (bunch of weirdos do though)

Stripe Tax is a good team. The only problem is the product can be too complex because tax requirements change around the world and most people hate dealing with taxes. You will need to deal with TaxJar kid of requirements. Look up TaxJar online. Good PM team too.

Very good WLB with caring managers. Priorities are changing quite a bit based on business reqs but overall I think you’d like it.
