Is meta really worth the wait?
I've got a Stripe on-site coming up soon. I heard a rumor (Glassdoor) that the bug squash round for Java folks is likely in one the of the Jackson libs like jackson-core, jackson-databind, jackson-annotations (although this one would be kinda weird). I've been poking around trying to see if I could maybe solve a few open GitHub issues. What's the level of depth expected for the interview? Are we talking like some field not getting serialized/deserialized or a core change to the library? (which some of these issues track) #stripe
What level are you interviewing for?
No clue - was never really mentioned during the recruiting process. I have 5 YOE
Try to establish a consistent repro. Ask ur interviewer for it. After that start putting some print lines in ur code to understand how the code is getting called. If an exception is thrown follow the instructor chain previous to it methodically. And try to narrow down the problem. If it's jackson and shit be familiar with json serialization in general. How to annotate classes and objects. How to write a custom serializer etc. I cannot imagine it being that hard.
can somebody pls get me a stripe referral

Beware of Stripe's new RSU policy
Probably too late, but can you elaborate?
They have 1 year grants instead of the regular 4 year
