Stripe interview review L4
+11 YOE. Current Fixed base: 57LPA RSU 29K usd/yr Bonus 5K usd/yr Had six rounds of interviews, fingers crossed awaiting results. - phone screening, completed all 3 parts of the question and successfully ran all test cases - coding exercise, completed part 1 ran out of time and only explained the approach for part2. But did part1 perfectly - integration round, implemented part1 and provided approach for part2(ran out of time) - bug squash, identified the bug with one hint fixed it in code - system design, went well interviewer was satisfied with my design - goal and experience, went well too. What would be the result? What is stripe pay scale for L4 in India ? Is stripe safe to move? currently in microsoft, not happy with work(no learning lots of dependency, Azure data) and WLB #software #stripe #microsoft
What is this CTC figure? Does it include just the base salary?

This is the interview process for upto L3. L4 has different kind of rounds so looks like you're targeting L3 only now
Did the interview loop feel significantly different from typical FAANG interviews? Would you say that a person who can clear all FAANG interviews needs extra prep for Stripe?
Process is completely different from FAANG, no leetcode questions. coding problem involves simpler problems they evaluate how you approach, code quality, if all corner test cases are covered etc. No preparation needed these problem would reveal how you approach your day to day work.
Integration round with just part1 might be a negative but also depends on the question, same for coding exercise. L4 range is high, may start with 2-2.5cr L4 seems difficult, you might get L3, but best of luck. I would be happy if I am wrong ๐
Update: recruiter called after 3 days and said he is submitting my profile to recruiting committee today, in couple of days he can get back to me. No explicit yes or no. He asked for any questions and asked about my expected salary just to be prepared in case things move ahead. No clarity provided on level he said L2+ has same interviewing process and recruiting committee would finalize level and pay based on feedback, if it is a go and ended with fingers crossed!
Your recruiter lied to you. Yours was not a L4 loop.
