Congrats to Stripe people. It will be biggest IPO I guess? https://stripe.com/newsroom/news/stripe-series-h
They do a three-month rolling average for their RSU valuations, right? So someone joining in mid-April would still have 2 months at the old valuation averaged in?
Not the biggest pre-IPO, this would make it the 11th largest (so far). We’ll learn more when they release their S-1 Edit: I’d love to learn more about how the financials compare to PayPal, square, etc. Definitely love the management.
Folks. You'd want to have lower valuation when private and higher valuation when public. Not the other way around. It's nothing to celebrate...
Damn so everyone who joined this year just got a 3x RSU paycut for next 3 years. Brutal. Amazing company, terrible RSU policy. Regardless, congrats Stripe. Can't wait for the IPO
No, current valuation is not equal to valuation at last funding round. Private companies have to go through a FMV process every quarter. I'd guess their FMV during the last audit was already pretty close to their valuation at this round and it won't make a huge difference for RSUs.

Unrelated but does stripe ask leetcode style questions for swe?
No, they don't. Pretty easy coding problems, bug bash and integration round.
Really? I thought they are pretty difficult to get offers from. Thanks btw
