Hey All, I have 2 interviews setup with Stubhub in the coming weeks, and its one 90 min code-pair interview and one 60 min Leetcode style interview. Can anyone give any info about what the 90 min one would look like ? This is for a Backend Engineer II position, for reference. TC 160K #stubhub #interview #tips
From my prior experience, they will ask a series of questions. Focus on polishing a product from with simple requirements to more realistic but complex requirements
how do you mean ? and where does the coding part come in ? and how much of the product do they provide vs what i have to come up with ?
Real coding. They give you a minimal product requirement and ask you to code. As long as you finishes, they will ask more requirements. Again and again. They want to see whether you are able to evolve the code as long as new requirements coming in. More like a real product’s development cycle.
Worst interviewing company ever. They don't know how to conduct an interview.
Why do you say so ? I do think their hr are just the worst lol. They 3-4 and 2 follow up emails to answer a single query
Hey, I’m having the same interview coming up. Do you mind sharing how you prepping for it? Or team up to prep for it
Just leetcoding. Doing OOD principles on educative.io
Wbu ?
I just did the 90 min pair coding and 60 min system design. Positive experience overall; one Eng is from AWS and the other one is from Google. Both rounds require strong communication.
What kind of questions do they ask? Is it OOPS based or algorithms or React?
OOD like problem. No algorithm but you will need to know the data structures. And write production quality code.
what is the process like? are there more interviews after the code pair and sys design?
I believe there would be a final “on-site” style round
I took the 90-min code pair. The problem is pretty much as described in the document the recruiter sent over. My interview didn't last 90 mins - the interviewer cut it short to around 70 mins. They key take away - speed and accuracy. You have to get through all the parts. I lacked that required speed so didn't get through and probably why the interviewer cut my interview short seeing. Onto the next one.
Hi, can you please share some more of info please?
Sure DM me
My process was the code pair round and then a system design round the week after. Does anyone know how long they take to get back after the system design round? It was this past Monday so it has been a full 4 days now.
They told me they would respond within a couple days
sending you a DM
I received a codesignal test as a first step. What to expect in that assessment?

StubHub doing LC is hilarious lol it’s a shit company with a shit product. As a consumer, I run into so many bugs and customer service is awful
I actually think the app is fine. Way better than Ticketmaster
Not saying much lol
