Background: I have 8+ years of Software Development experience in India at top product companies. Recently I completed a Masters degree (MIS) from an average university in US (I wanted to do MBA but it was too costly and too competitive) I was hoping to get into product management after the course but nothing worked out. As of now I have however accepted an offer for SDE-2 at Amazon. What should be the strategy to move into Product within Amazon in the long run? How much compromise I have to do with he TC? Any other general advice?
