Summer internship @ a startup for Freshman
Hi everyone, I am a freshman CS student @ Bellevue College transferring in fall 2022 to University of Washington. I applied to various big companies for software engineering internship opportunities but never got a reply from them. I am a self taught programmer, have developed over 10 projects in the past 2 years and taken multitude of online CS courses. I have been mainly coding in Javascript and Java. My primary motivation for doing an internship is to learn as much as possible, so tech stack/TC really doesn't matter. I'm residing in Bellevue, Washington open to any local or remote summer internship opportunities. Would really appreciate it if anyone could let me know for open software engineer positions in their company. PS. You should just go ape shit on LinkedIn. Post this there and then apply to every internship that's in Seattle or remote. Not exactly the solution you're looking for but you might have better odds doing that than trying to get a referral here.
I had tried applying through LinkedIn to several companies with no luck, but i guess I should continue applying, thx for the suggestion
