Suspicion that Apple ID (cloud) may be hacked

I have a suspicion that someone has hacked my Apple ID (they know things that they should not, pictures etc.) Apart from changing my Apple ID and password is there anything else I can do? Is there a way to confirm if this is happening? EDIT: although you can change your ID, your @icloud doesn’t change. Please help!
