My brother is thinking of trying the SDE boot camp from Galvanize. They have a specific flavor geared towards the armed forces. Anyone have experience with them. Recommend? All boot camps kinda blur together haha
I don't recommend it. Maybe in 2015 when the market was still hot and free education was not as good but free CS materials are much better than before. I would self learn instead of paying $15-20K for a bootcamp. Plus the market is tough at the moment so there's more time to self teach yourself before the economy recovers.

Amidst mass layoffs the US govt allows companies to hire Visa Workers without proving they first tried hiring US workers
Boot camps in general will teach you basics. To become a developer people will want to hire he’ll need to go above and beyond during and after. That means building lots of side projects for practice. Trying to replicate existing populate apps is a good way to practice.
